jPDF Writer is a library for programmers that lets you generate PDF documents directly from your Java programs, without needing to have any driver or additional software installed.

With the jPDF Writer library functions you can create the PDF, edit it, insert text/graphics in it and print it. As it is a library written completely in Java, it works in any platform (not just Windows).

And, jPDF Writer has functions to compress the resulting PDF, encrypt it, etc. It also includes different font types. For the program to work correctly you need Java Virtual Machine (and if you don`t have it, jPDF Writer will install it automatically).
